Recently, SEED Foundation led a student delegation to the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) at Cyberport Hong Kong. It was a rare opportunity to witness firsthand how emerging technology is reshaping creativity and industry.
The experience gave students direct access to the artistic innovators and technologies defining the next era of creative industries: controlling fighting robots through wearable sensors and learning how a VR reconstruction of Versailles is brought to life, where preserving cultural heritage demands as much historical rigour as technical artistry. They also saw AI agents accelerate animation production at FizzDragon, examined AI-powered smart checkout and the logic of computer vision, and watched a live agentic VJ system transform audio signals into immersive visuals. Yet behind every one of these moments, human judgment and guidance remain indispensable.
Behind every field trip we take our students on, there is a deeper intention: to show them that technology is a powerful creative collaborator, but human judgment, ethical thinking and creative vision are what give it meaning. Equipping students with these capabilities, including problem framing, systems thinking and digital literacy, is what future-ready education truly looks like.
We look forward to curating more inspiring experiences for our students. Stay tuned for what's coming next!
