Education knows no borders. When educators cross boundaries ā geographically, intellectually, and technologically ā they are inspired by new ideas, empowered by innovation, and equipped to bring fresh perspectives back to their students.
To foster cross-border collaboration and strengthen professional development, we led a group of Hong Kong secondary school educators on a visit to Shenzhen, where they engaged with two innovation-driven institutions ā InnoX Academy founded by Professor Zexiang Li of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and X-Institute founded by Professor Quanshui Zheng from Tsinghua University.
Through immersive site visits and insightful dialogue, educators saw firsthand how innovation education in the Greater Bay Area is moving from vision to implementation.
A key highlight was an exchange session between educators from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, discussing how regional collaboration can cultivate future-ready skills, entrepreneurial mindsets, and cross-cultural learning opportunities for students.
This initiative is just the first of many to come. We believe that meaningful collaboration and continuous professional growth are key to empowering educators. By creating opportunities for dialogue, discovery, and shared learning, we can inspire innovative practices that ultimately enrich the student experience and prepare them for a rapidly evolving world.
Weāre deeply grateful to InnoX, X-Institute, and all participating educators for their partnership in building a more connected, forward-looking future for learning.
