AlipayHK 𝛂dvice Youth Tech Innovation and UX Design Competition 2026 | University Division | Semi-Final & Grand Final Recap

We recently hosted a full day of innovation and bold design thinking, and the energy in the room was electric. The morning Semi-Final saw the Top 16 post-secondary teams present their AI-integrated UX design solutions for the AlipayHK Super App, with six standout teams advancing to the Grand Final.

In the afternoon, the Top 6 finalists showcased thoughtful user research, compelling design rationale, and innovative thinking before our distinguished Grand Final judging panel, including AlipayHK's Senior Director & Head of Digital and Financial Services Mr. Martin Tang, AlipayHK's Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Keith Cheung, AlipayHK's Senior HR Manager Mr. Gallian Lai, Head of AlipayHK Design Mr. Leon Wang, HKFYG Deputy Executive Director Mr. William Chung, and our CEO Mr. Ken Lo.

After an intense judging process, we are proud to announce our winners:

Champion — (Individual) GUO, Tianbei | Hong Kong Baptist University

1st Runner-up — (Team) V723 | The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

2nd Runner-up — (Individual) YIU, Suet Lam Aurora | The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Congratulations to each and every one of our winners. Your dedication, creativity, and design thinking truly stood out. The Top 3 winners will take on the title of AlipayHK Chief Innovation Officer, along with a summer internship placement experience at AlipayHK.
