Success Case: Campus Implementation Results

Deepening Impact and School-Business Collaboration Network

Deep Cultivation on Campus, Connecting with Industry: 2024/25 Academic Year STEAM Education Impact Report

In the 2024/25 academic year, SEED Foundation established a significant milestone in promoting local school-based STEAM education. We successfully gained high trust from the academic community, establishing deep collaborative relationships with over 40 partner schools across Hong Kong. Breaking the framework of general one-off lectures and addressing the lack of depth and sustained impact in short-term courses, we provided systematic digital skills training (Cloud Computing, UX/UI, and Data Analytics) following Qualifications Framework standards to over 900 students.

Simultaneously, SEED is committed to building a strong school-business cooperation ecosystem, connecting with 24 top partner enterprises to build a bridge from the classroom to the workplace for students. Through real corporate internships and visits, we not only cultivate students' soft skills but also expand their vision of the digital economy, fully supporting schools in implementing career planning education to ensure every student can apply what they have learned in real scenarios and face future technological challenges.

Core Course Values and Teaching Objectives

This course is specifically designed to align with the Hong Kong secondary school curriculum framework, focusing on optimization in the following areas:

Aligning with DSE Curriculum and School-Based Assessment (SBA) Support

The course content deeply echoes the core modules of the Design and Applied Technology subject, particularly targeting the areas of Value and Impact and Design Project Process. By teaching professional design inquiry methods, we help students build design portfolios in a more logical manner, directly supporting the requirements of School-Based Assessment (SBA).

Introducing Industry-Standard Tools

The course fully utilizes Figma, the world's leading cloud-based collaborative UX/UI design software, for teaching. Students will learn design workflows synchronized with today's top tech companies, ensuring that their skills are practical and forward-looking.

Administrative Support and Subsidy Application

SEED Foundation provides schools with one-stop administrative support from proposal writing and instructor arrangement to final reporting, ensuring smooth course implementation.

Professional Certification and Career Planning

The course is accredited by HKU SPACE (The University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education) and the Qualifications Framework (QF). Students who complete the course will be awarded a certificate to enrich their Student Learning Profile (SLP). Outstanding students even have the chance to participate in internship programs supported by enterprises like AlipayHK, gaining early exposure to real workplace environments.
