When students graduate from our programs, we always say, "This is not goodbye." And we mean it.
As our alumni network grows, weāre fostering deeper connections through SEED Fellowsāa community where graduates can support one another and where we can continue empowering them in their journeys ahead.
Last Saturday, we hosted a SEED Fellows Movie Night, bringing together our Fellows and school teachers to watch The Way We Talk (ćēęä»å¤©ę麼說ć), a touching film exploring Deaf identity.
At SEED, we equip students with technology skills and encourage them to apply innovation to tackle social challengesāespecially through our IdeaPOP! program. But this movie was a powerful reminder: true innovation must be built with empathy. While technology often aims to "help," itās crucial to ask: Are we truly listening to all the voices of those we seek to support?
What started as a night to reconnect turned into something much moreāa moment of reflection on inclusive innovation and how we, as changemakers, can do better.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! Weāre grateful to be part of such a vibrant, engaged network, and we canāt wait to host more events like this. Stay tuned for whatās nextāletās continue learning, growing, and making an impact together!Ā
